DESCRIPTION
The Variable Power Dividers were developed for use in missiles and other airborne vehicles. It is designed to divide the output power of a radar transponder equally between two antenna elements mounted in airborne vehicles and connected through unequal lengths of coaxial transmission lines. With the power divider adjusted to compensate for unequal cable losses, equal power will be radiated by each element of the two element array.
Minimum input VSWR is less than 1.3:1 and is tunable over the frequency range of operation.
